Ridhi met Ankur ten years ago through common friends at an amusement park and they’ve not spent a day apart since then!

Our journey together has been bitter sweet. We understand each other very well.. every mood swing everything.. so we’re more like best friends rather than a typical couple!😍

The couple chose to keep their wedding an intimate affair. They tied the knot at Ridhi’s home in Safdarjung enclave.

“I love Owls!” says Ridhi and guess what? Her entire mehendi decor was themed around cute owls and shades of pink, white and purple.

We love the decor and how it totally complements her outfit – a pretty tie-n-dye long jacket on purple gota patti lehenga – dressy and fun just like you want your mehendi outfit to be! The trendy jewelry by Fooljhadi adds just the right touch of quirk ✨

Was it easy designing your own outfits?

It was not easy at all!! I was terrified and I used to eat my friend Mohit and my parents head everyday 😝 I made a lot of swatches and then we finally fixed the embroidery and then it felt like took super long to get finished!

So I wont call it a ‘cakewalk’!

 The Dream Wedding!

Minty Beauty!

For my wedding I wanted to design something intricate and different and definitely not red! So I chose mint with flowers and birds on it 💚

Understated Elegance!

Ankur’s simple and elegant draped sherwani in chikan was designed by Nikhil Thampi and boy does he look royal in it!

Their wedding looks were styled by Ridhi’s friend and celebrity stylist Mohit Rai who helped her choose the five lada haar and a choker from Raabta by Rahul to go with her outfit.

The Romantic Reception!

Pretty in Pink!

For her grand reception, Ridhi chose a stunning Gauri and Nainika gown in pink and white as “no one does these gowns better in India”!💞

Dance On!

And her most memorable moment together was their beautiful first dance as Mr & Mrs!😍
