Not everyone fits into your stereotypical perception of “beauty”, but when you’ve got a beautiful soul, some superwoman attitude and the prettiest wedding lehenga, who can stop you!! Our Sabya bride Mishka and Rachit’s is a story waiting to be seen…
The Wedding Saga have beautifully captured the gorgeous wedding pictures of our couple, Mishika & Rachit. Let’s take a look…
Story of our Sabya bride, Mishika
After a formal family meeting in the afternoon, Mishika and Rachit decided to meet alone in the evening and it was love at second sight!
They were not much alike, but as Mishika puts it – “opposites attract!”, and they decided to walk together forever.
What clicked? “I was really impressed by his aura and honesty… He came across as really humble and innocent yet extremely smart at the same time” says Mishika.
Dancing to happy tunes!
With the wedding dates set, they met often for their dance practice sessions, and in the busy and tight schedule – that was their favourite time spent together. “How we used to sneak out here and there for a short drive amidst all the chaos!” reminisces Mishika <3
While their wedding festivities kick started with mata ki chowki and mangal path followed by haldi, mehendi, sangeet and the wedding; after such fun dance sessions – of course Sangeet was their favourite event!
As she danced with Rachit on their sangeet and all eyes were on them, she felt on top of the world!
“You are the celebrity and that’s the event where you really get to enjoy with all friends, family and cousins.”
“And I got all amazing photos clicked with my bridesquad and of course the amazing photoshoot with Rachit!” says our happy bride.
The Wedding Day!
For her wedding day, Mishika chose a Sabyasachi lehenga – traditional rani pink and hand-embroidered with silk-floss thread, zardosi and rhinestones and framed with heritage zardosi borders.
Her pink dupatta dotted with zardosi and crystals added a touch of delicate charm. And of course you can’t miss the lovely turquoise meena work jewellery and how beautifully her eye make-up complements it!
Most Memorable Moment?
“We were out on a drive celebrating our ‘one month’ of togetherness and Rachit put a blindfold on me…
He started singing, then stopped the car in the middle of the road and got down to open my door. He took my hand and went down on his knees to pop the question “will you marry me?” and that was the most romantic moment ever!
Now this is what we call a cute proposal <3
Tips for ‘brides-to-be’
- Stay calm and be a #bridechilla
- Completely enjoy each and every moment because this isn’t going to come back. And when you see the photos and videos few months later, you will realize that these are the best memories.
- Keep yourself completely away from too many last minute decisions or chaos because it’s your time to just sit, enjoy and get pampered.
We love how The Wedding Saga has done a fabulous job in capturing their timeless portraits and special moments during the wedding!
