Love Strikes!
Our bride-to-be Mayuri met Ritesh (her future sweetheart) at a wedding and felt an instant connection. “He was brilliant, extremely funny and very quirky at heart. I thought I’d found a wonderful friend!” says Mayuri.

Only Louvee
After four years involving long-distance love, traveling, break-ups and make-ups, Ritesh proposed to Mayuri at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria hotel, Ras Al Khaimah, and of course she said “YES”!

Eyes Sealed
Thereafter, began the preparations for their royal Jaipur wedding. Let’s have a look…
Holi Mehendi – a Festival of Spring!

MayRiShaadi
Their three-day wedding celebrations took off on a merry note with a Holi-themed mehendi – quite a charm cos it was actually Holi that day too!

Colorful Riot
The colorful shamianas, quirky hangings, fresh flowers and fancy outdoor seating lent a vibrant spring feel to the festivities!

Sheer Sass
Mayuri dolled up in a lime green lehenga by Anushree Reddy and looked like a dream! Don’t miss those elbow high mehendi hands.

Dapper Couple
And if you look close enough, you can spot a city skyline and an airplane flying in her mehendi – showcasing their long distance love story! <3

Twirling with Happiness
Ritesh complemented her in a sunshine yellow sherwani with a flared kurta by Sameer Patel. Isn’t this couple twirl picture the cutest ever!

Here comes our couple
From color bombs to dancing away to dhols to playing holi with family and friends – their holi mehendi was quite the colour riot.

Shenanigans
What’s a mehendi party without some killer dance moves? This favourite Ranveer Singh “tattad tattad” made for quite the Holi scene!

Ranveer Singh Fans
Beautifully captured by Recall Pictures, don’t this couple look made for each other 🙂

Touch of Love
Autumn Themed Sangeet

Wise Words
Moving on from spring, their Sangeet night took on a glazed autumn theme with golden leaves and hanging Arabic lanterns creating a mystic sufi vibe. From Rumi’s poetry all around to the bride’s Mughal look – this theme took “falling in love” to a classic romantic level!

Stunning
Mayuri shimmered in a royal green and gold Manish Malhotra lehenga with a long blouse. Paired with heirloom style jewelry and her statement passa, she aced the regal princess look in style!

Gorg Couple
“I loved Anushka Sharma’s look in the song Channa Mereya from the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and wanted to recreate this in hues of green and gold. The team from Manish Malhotra‘s Delhi store was incredibly sweet and very helpful in making sure I attain that look to perfection!”, quips our bride.

When Eyeslock
Ritesh wore an elegant maroon achkan from Shantanu & Nikhil and they both looked perfect with each other.

Graceful
The night was all about romance and dance for our gorgeous couple. From her lovely performance to his cutesy one, they rocked the stage with dance and music.

Love You
We love how this family portraits captures them with their parents on their special day.

A Must-Have Family Portrait
A Royal Jaipur Wedding with a Monsoon Theme!

Floral Mandap
Their wedding took place at the plush JW Marriott Resort & Spa, Jaipur. Isn’t this beautiful pink hued mandap with floral lotuses and pink peacocks looking heavenly to tie the knot!

Sooo beautiful
The entire venue was decorated with pastel blooms, drapes, peacocks (literally the bride Mayuri’s namesake!) and umbrellas to create the monsoon wedding theme.

Go Click Click
“The Dreamzkraft décor team and the wedding planner Krayonz Entertainment understood our vision well and were rudimentary in bringing this to reality in the most spectacular way imaginable!”, says Mayuri.

Dolled Up
And when it is your wedding day, you can’t miss out capturing these “getting ready” poses, can you!

Ravishing in Red
Our bride looked resplendent in a bright rani pink and gold Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehenga, paired with heirloom jewelry, bold lips and the most gorgeous smile.

Looking Royal
Ritesh looked his stately best in an elegant cream colored sherwani from Sabyasachi and teamed it with a pink and gold stole, a beige safa and a multi-layered ruby mala.

Groom Squad
If that wasn’t enough, his dashing groom squad was dressed to kill!

Under the Canopy of Flowers
And when Mayuri walked down to the mandap under floral arches, hand in hand with with her father on the song “Moh Moh Ke Dhaage” – it was as beautiful a scene as ever!

The Groom Arrives
Ritesh arrived in a vintage teal blue classic convertible – now that’s is what we call an entry.

That Jaimala Moment
“He was waiting for me on the varmala platform surrounded by floral peacocks” says Mayuri, and it was one of their most beautiful moment together – don’t you think!

Vermilion for Life
From their color coded looks to the gorgeous decor and monsoon vibes all around, it was a night to remember.
Glowing together in their ‘just married’ bliss with firecrackers and floral peacocks overlooking them, this one’s a frame-worthy picture 🙂

Tips for other To-Be Couples
Spend Time with your LOVED Ones – “Before the pheras, I had written a letter to both our mothers, thanking them for being so supportive of us throughout this journey! Similarly, Ritesh snuck out of the after-party to hang out alone with our fathers:)

Wedding Moments
Make your guests feel SPECIAL – Take special care of your guests. Prior to the wedding, we sent expected dress code to guests – and they found it quite useful. There was late night supper everyday, which most youngsters appreciated during those 5 am hunger pangs!
DON’T take things too seriously – Stay up till late, eat and drink to your heart’s content, and don’t worry about being a poised, graceful bride or groom. It’s more important to be happy!
SPECIAL TIPS – Ice water bath, a shot of espresso and a good concealer do wonders to hide any signs of lack of sleep, and it will be totally worth it!
The Filmy After-Party

Let’s Play
After all the wedding rituals, it was time for a chilled out after-party with a quirky Bollywood and Mumbai theme!

For the Movie Buffs
Carom boards, ‘Bean Bags for Sale’ graffiti, and Bhojpuri movie posters were some quirky elements used generously :p

Toss the Bottles
The bartenders, dressed as ‘chaiwalas’, brought custom made drinks to guests.

Couple Entry
The funniest part was that guests entered the party through a police check-post (nakabandi) themed entry, where Caucasian “policewomen” would only let them enter if they would take a shot!

Rock N Roll
While Mayuri looked stunning in a maroon Monisha Jaising outfit, it was Ritesh’s Karrtik D ‘Bombay-themed’ tuxedo that stole the show!
Summer Pool Party

Summer Pool Party
The last day of celebrations was a Spanish Pool Party to enjoy the tropical vibes with sangrias under the sun.

Quirky
And you can’t stop going awwwwww when you see our newly wed Mayuri making a refreshing entry with her dress-coded squad on the song “Mi Gente”!

The Bride and her Tribe
Our couple twinned in their gorgeous blue and white outfits. While Mayuri looked lovely in a white off-shoulder crop top paired with a printed blue and white skirt by Sherri Hill, Ritesh suited up in a white t-shirt and eccentric jacket by Troy Costa.

Matching-Matching
Don’t they look like the perfect pair in this fab capture by their wedding photographer Recall Pictures!

The Tug of War is on
Taking the entertainment quotient higher, Mariachi singers, paellas, beer pong, in-water tug-of-war and relaxing foot massages were arranged to keep the guests engaged.

Here they Go!
Winter Reception

Pretty in Pink
The wedding festivities concluded with an opulent ‘winter’ themed reception in hues of white and sparkling crystals all around!

Wowww
Ivory drapes, sparkling chandeliers, baby pink cherry blossoms, transparent chairs, velvet tablecloth and silver tableware made the reception a sophisticated affair!

Always by your Side
Mayuri and Ritesh looked absolutely breathtaking as they made a glittery hand-in-hand entry together! She looked ethereal in her ivory and silver off-shoulder Monisha Jaising gown, while Ritesh looked his suave best in a bottle green velvet tuxedo by Troy Costa.

Family is Forever
Its her long trailing veil that lends the entire look a magical vibe, don’t you think!

Veiled Beauty
All eyes were on them as the cute couple danced to all time classic “Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye”… we bet the only other thing people could talk about was that gorgeous 6 tiered wedding cake that looks too good to be cut! :p

Yummy Tummy
From heartfelt speeches by loved ones to celebratory champagne – everything at this reception was picture perfect to lend the perfect finish to their three-day wedding marathon 🙂
