What started as a usual dinner plan, suddenly turned interesting as Nur surprised Ayesha with a proposal on the rooftop!
With her family, friends and the starry skies as spectators, Nur announced “A summer night, our favorite song, a view above our city and you. I’ve waited six years for this.” Of course, she said yes!

Mehendi with a Tropical Twist!
Their wedding ceremonies kick-started with mehendi / ‘gaaye holud’ ceremony with eccentric floral décor and yummy treats.
Ayesha looked lovely in lemon yellow Maria B and Faiza Saqlain outfit as she entered under this hatke white-roses-green-leaves phoolon ki chadar. Don’t miss how her her sisters twinned in completely complimenting shades.
Her beautiful white floral jewelry by Bhanu Shetty exuded fresh fragrance and went perfectly well with her lwmon outfit.

Their Royal Muslim Wedding – A Romantic Garden Nikah!
Their garden wedding took place at the Islamic center of Long Island, with God’s blessings amidst the lush greenery and peaceful architectural design.
Looking ethereal in a classic cream and gold sari with a veil by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Ayesha channeled sheer royalty. Don’t miss how that kundan choker with green hangings compliment her white and green bridal bouquet.
Her light day makeup had that ‘glowing-from-within’ radiance and we totally love her penchant for dramatic eyes!
Nur looked regal in his checkered Sabyasachi sherwani complete with gold buttons and paired with an embroidered shawl.
The couple effortlessly twinned in cream and gold and looked like a match made in heaven.
“The best part was seeing his reaction as he saw me! That moment was one of the happiest moments of my life.” reveals Ayesha!
Ayesha’s yummy surprise for Nur was a huge and pretty wedding cake, on a table decorated with roses, hydrangeas and lots of candles!
And we loouvvee how all her bridesmaids wore complimenting light colours to match them as true BFFs should!

The Muslim Wedding with a Grand Reception
Their wedding reception was the grandest affair with the sparkling candle lit dangers and breathtaking floral decor.
