Love Takes Flight among Kites!
Anoli was a fashion designer, with 8 years experience and lived in Ahmedabad. While Arjun, owned his own IT company apart from working for his family run businesses across Mumbai, Dubai and Nigeria.
And they finally met in early 2016 after an aunt’s repeated insistence!
The lovely couple had lunch together and went to a friend’s terrace for the Makar Sakranti kite flying festival. By the end of the day – their love had soared high and low and it was a big “YES” for both in their hearts!
The Yacht Proposal!
Anoli says, “We just fit together & kept in touch. It felt like we’ve known each other for ages. And then my proposal was that magical moment where you start believing that fairy tales do come true!”
One fine day, a friend of mine and Arjun cooked up a story about going for someone’s sundowner on a yacht in Dubai and I believed them. Only on reaching the Dubai Marina Yacht Club, I found out that him and me were the only ones going on that yacht!
He went down on his knees right in front of the Burj al Arab and it was truly magical!

Both of us wanted a destination wedding and we instantly fell in love with The Ananta, Udaipur the moment we saw it! It is beautifully spread out over a hill and the weather in Udaipur is perfectly romantic too 🙂
